How to watch 2024/25 EFL play-offs
The 2024/25 EFL season has been a historic campaign in broadcasting terms as for the first time in history, every single game from the Championship, League One and League Two has been shown live throughout the season.
This has been thanks to Sky Sports, who has been the primary broadcaster of the EFL for some time but expanded their coverage this year so that fans can watch even more action, thanks to their newest channel Sky Sports+, which launched last August.
EFL on Sky Sports

Sky Sports+ was added to the Sky Sports roster shortly before the start of the 2024/25 EFL campaign and promised to bring more football than ever, with over 1000 matches shown live during the season.
The EFL on Sky Sports+ has been brilliant for fans of clubs in the lower divisions, giving them the opportunity to watch their beloved side when they can’t make it to the games.
But best of all, Sky Sports+ is available at no extra cost - it was added as part of the Sky Sports range and not as an optional add-on, meaning anyone with a Sky Sports package has immediate access to Sky Sports+.
That access gains you the channel on Sky TV plus streams on the Sky Sports app. The app underwent a redesign last summer to accommodate the Sky Sports+ streams, essentially becoming the EFL hub by hosting all games within the streaming service.

League One saw history made this year as Birmingham City totalled a whopping 111 points, the most ever recorded in a 46-game season.
Behind them was a super competitive fight for the automatic promotion place between four sides. In the end, it was the Hollywood story team, Wrexham, who secured their third-consecutive promotion and will be playing in the second level of English football for the first time since 1982.
The three sides that lost out and finished in the third to fifth spots were Stockport County, Charlton Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers, with Leyton Orient coming in not too far behind in the final play-off spot.

2024/25 EFL Play-Offs: League Two
Finally, the fourth tier of English football and third division of the EFL, League Two another competitive campaign.
For those who aren’t aware, League Two differs from the other two divisions in the EFL with how many teams gain promotion at the end of the season. Instead of the standard two automatic promotion spots then one further for winning the play-offs, the top three teams in the table go straight up, then the remaining four teams play for the fourth and final promotion.
This year, the top three teams were Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale and Bradford City, the latter of which securing their promotion on the final day thanks to a 96th minute winner!
While it was joy for Bradford, it was hard luck for Walsall, who missed out on third place thanks to Antoni Sarcevic’s last-minute heroics. They now have to go through the play-offs if they want their promotion.
They will be joined by AFC Wimbledon, Notts County and Chesterfield.

The League Two final is the last of the three, coming on Monday 26th May. Once more, kick-off time is as yet undetermined and will be decided when the two finalists are confirmed.
